Picote cutting

About: Picote cutting is used to cut through tree roots, debris, concrete and anything that can’t be easily blasted by our high-pressure water jetter. It can also be used for:

  • Fats, oils and grease
  • Root clearing
  • Concrete removal
  • Failed Liners 
  • Damaged or delicate pipes
  • Retrieval of lost items

Description: Carpark underground drainage – undertake build up within the drainage system in the basement carpark area. Provide before and after CCTV evidence of works Rotary Cleaning  – 1 week on site.

Duration: July 2022

Location: city centre, grade 2 listed building

Why: Following a flooding of the underground car park, we carried out a full CCTV survey which highlighted a build-up of hard scale within the drainage system in the basement carpark area. We undertook intense descaling with picote rotary cleaning equipment to break down and remove hard scale, leaving the water running freely.
