Issue: Drainage engineer to attend site to investigate foul smells within the building.

Location: Cross Street, Manchester

Solution: Our technicians arrived on site to carry out full descale of drainage on the 7th and 8th floors. Over 2 visits, they removed all traps and cleaned them and cleaned the pipework with EMC machine, then used see snake to CCTV to look down the toilets; all pipes were clear. They then removed the shower traps which were full of hair and gunk which attracts sewer fly’s, and identified that this was where the smell was coming from. These were fully cleaned and put back in place, and then cleaned 2x kitchen sinks and whilst on site removed wall panels just to check the condition of pan connectors ect.

No further issues found. Site left clean and tidy and smell free!
