Issue: To undertake an excavation process to install a new drain and then reinstate the concrete to the original standard.

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Solution:  Using a Stihl saw and dust suppression processes and the correct PPE, we cut the concrete on top of the existing pipe, dug down on existing pipe and cut it. We then installed a T junction on the line using 2 band seals. We cut a trench in the concrete leading into the other room digging down and installing a new drain connecting into the new T junction. Using 2 x 30 degree bends directing the pipe through the doorway and connecting a T junction on the 90 degree bend and capped off for potential further works. We reinstated all concrete back to original standard.
