Clearground are a facilities maintenance company, working nationally to support some of the best names in commercial property management, student accommodation and hospitality. They have been trading for 15 years this year, and have always wanted to be able to give their team Health Cover, but didn’t know how best to facilitate it. “We have been looking for ways to add to the benefits package for our team to attract new members, as well as positively affect staff absences, increase productively and improve staff engagement”.

One of the main attractions was the 24hour advice line, which also includes a confidential counselling service and up to 6 face to face sessions. Good mental health is as important as physical health, as we understand the long term effect that stress and poor mental health can have on both the work life and the home life of our employees. This helpline can be used to discuss anything from issues in your personal relationships, financial constraints and work place stresses. We feel that this is invaluable to the general wellbeing of our team, and encourage all to use it, whatever the issue. We wanted health care that was affordable but that also, would provide a range of benefits that we wanted to provide, including extra cover for partners and children, personal accident cover and With 23 employees, and high growth plans for the coming 2 years, the Westfield Health cash plan adds to the attraction of working for Clearground and it gives us great pleasure to be able to give something extra and to show that everyone in our team is appreciated, with the value of benefits increasing by length of service.
