Callout to an existing client in a grade 2 listed building, situated in Liverpool city centre. These old buildings each have their own specific idiosyncrasies and issues caused by old systems and sometimes restricted and difficult access.

Following a report of water on the floor and a slow running urinal in the basement staff-room gent’s toilet, our technician arrived in site to find 3x blocked and overflowing urinals. He removed the panels to check the pipework, and with the use of a plumbers mate tried to clear the pipes without success. On further investigation he found that the a sink ran into the urinal pipework and was also blocked. He removed the trap and carried out works using EMC machine pulling out a large quantity of hair. Once done, the trap was reinstated and flow tested everything and cleaned area, leaving it clean and tidy.
