Issue: Blocked toilets and subsequent patch lining

Location: Liverpool Innovation Park

Solution:  Upon arrival we lifted the internal 12 inch inspection covers in gent’s toilets to see if they where blocked there. They were found to be all clear and we then proceeded to the toilets and found one in the gents blocked. We plunged all toilets and chased blockage to the out fall, then cleared the blockage and lifted the outside manhole to check that the line was running freely, to check system from toilets to the manhole outside. We did a dye test to check the system was fully cleared and this proved that the system was running clear.

We recommend a CCTV inspection behind the gent’s toilet to see if a fault in the line is causing this issue. Onsite maintenance were with us throughout the works and were happy that we cleared the obstruction/blockage.
