Called out to a new site – a multi use events and social space in Manchester’s Green Quarter – M60.

Arrived on site to a leak in the basement area. Our technician carried out an investigation and found on the ground level that there was an aco drain fully blocked and pooling which is the same wall side as the leak inside the building. He removed the lids and removed debris out of the aco drain. It was then all running freely. We have advised that water will continue to leak for a short time as the wall is still holding excess water, but this will eventually dry.

We have recommended a revisit to carry out jetting works to the aco drain and to high pressure water jet the manhole and drain lines to remove the build-up of silt throughout the system. The client has received our no-obligation quote with our recommendations, and will contact us should they wish to go ahead with these preventative works.
